Exterior-only cleaning is faster and cheaper, ideal as a touch-up between full cleans. Interior + exterior is the right call once or twice a year because most of what makes glass look 'clean' is really the inside surface, screens, tracks, and sills.
Exterior-only: when it makes sense
If you cleaned everything 4–6 months ago and just need to wash off pollen, dust, and a few sprinkler spots, exterior-only is perfect. It costs less, takes about half the time, and keeps the curb-appeal view fresh.
- Recent full clean and you want a refresh.
- Pre-photo or open-house touch-up.
- Renters or HOA requirements that only cover outside glass.
- Quick prep for a party or a holiday.
Interior + exterior: when it's the right call
Most of the haze you see on a sunny morning is actually on the inside of the glass — cooking film, dust, fingerprints, and dog noses. A true 'wow' result requires both sides plus screens, tracks, and sills.
- It's been 6+ months since a full clean.
- Selling, listing, or staging the home.
- After painting, drywall, or any interior remodel.
- Allergy-sensitive household — clean tracks reduce dust trapping.
A simple year-round approach

Yes, usually noticeably less because we don't set up indoors, move items, or hand-detail the inside. Pricing depends on pane count and access.
› Do you clean screens on exterior-only visits?
Not by default. Screens are included with interior + exterior service or can be added on.
› Will exterior-only fix smudges I can see from inside?
If the smudge is on the inside surface, no. Inside-surface marks require interior cleaning.
